The “Special Combat Academy”, commonly called "Special" by its members, founded in Rome in 2005, is the only Organization Specialized in Self-Defense, Training for Armed Forces, Police Forces, Private Security Forces based in Rome and present in Europe and Latin America.
Master Silvio Izzo, Founder and President of the Special Combat Academy, is responsible for training the National Directors and the Instructor Group of the member countries of the "Special" with constantly evolving techniques learned thanks to his 20 years as a "Consultant" in operations carried out in the field of security as an Operator and Team Leader, his 34 years of experience in martial arts and combat sports, and collaboration with prominent international figures in the military and sports world.
SPECIAL COMBAT ACADEMY QUALIFICATIONS
Self Defense Coach: Qualification obtained after passing the 60-hour course.
Self Defense Instructor: Qualification obtained after 1 year of teaching in the "Special" or in other Federations.
Operational Shooting Instructor: Qualification reserved for already certified Instructors in possession of a firearms license.
Master: Qualification obtained after 5 years of teaching in the "Special" or in other Federations.
T.L. - Team Leader: Regional and City Director, designated for the Supervision of the Student Group in their respective territory.
D.N. - National Director: Director designated for the supervision of Team Leaders.
TRAINING
Students - Private lessons and regular courses for beginners or advanced students who want to learn new self-defense techniques.
Instructors - Reserved for those who, meeting the requirements, decide to pursue a career in the Special Combat Academy.
Armed Forces / Police Forces / Security - Program dedicated to active duty operators.
Shooting Courses - Shooting courses with short/long/sniper firearms for those in possession of a firearms license.
